You must wear your wristband to all events!  
  • Please wear your wristband on your left wrist for easy identification. If you have a legitimate reason that you cannot wear your wristband, please plan to have it easily accessible when moving about the conference.


Uniform of the Day

Persons wearing the USAF-style Uniforms must meet weight and grooming standards in CAPM 39 -1.

Note: Following guidance from Civil Air Patrol national headquarters, we ask that cadets wear their uniform to the banquet. Cadets will not change into civilian attire for this event.

Please ensure your uniform adheres to CAPM 39-1 and the applicable WAWG S39-1.

Tip: Peer inspections (especially from a Cadet Officer) are much more effective than a personal review! This manual has changed over the years. Please do not be caught by surprise! Thank you for your support!


Customs & Courtesies and Respect for the Flag

  • DO NOT SALUTE INDOORS unless *reporting to receive an award. Of course Veterans have the right to render a hand salute to the Flag whether in uniform or not.
  • Please be alert to who is around you and demonstrate the highest level of customs and courtesies at all times!
  • Take a look at the Flag Code, specifically §9, “Conduct during hoisting, lowering or passing of flag.

  • Please make note of the differences for conduct while indoors vs outdoors.
